深受“五四”启蒙话语影响的“女性出走”主题,在张爱玲的小说中呈现出复杂而多元的价值内涵。通过不同时期对父亲形象的书写与建构,张爱玲完成从“弑父”出走到重归“父亲的家”的精神演变过程,实现在时代语境和生命体悟双重作用下对父权的审视。以母亲为代表的“女结婚员”形象的一再出现,则为“出走”想象提供别具意味的言说形态,显示出“娜拉走后怎样”这一话题所具有的多重意义空间。由此形成的张爱玲对于以“出走”为唯一价值指向的娜拉式妇女解放之路的质疑,标志着自“五四”以来作为主流价值观念而存在的娜拉神话的颠覆与终结。
