生殖崇拜不仅是人类自身繁衍壮大的根本方式,也是人类文化与审美永恒的主题,尤其是在生产力极其低下的洪荒远古,如果没有对生殖崇拜的执着,很难想象人类怎样走出蛮荒,走向文明。因此,作为产生于旧石器时代的原始艺术——岩画,生殖崇拜题材占有相当的比重。中国是岩画艺术分布较广的国家之一,从天山一路向东,经黑山、贺兰山、阴山到大兴安岭,岩画贯穿中国北方草原森林文化带。在中国北方岩画中,生殖崇拜岩画最为著名的当属世界罕见的 Reproductive worship is not only the fundamental way for human beings to multiply themselves, but also the eternal theme of human culture and aesthetics.
