The optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to analyze the chain fracture samples of 23MnNiCrMoA. The results show that the microscopic reason for the fracture is that the chemical composition of the chromium content is low, affecting the hardenability and strength of steel; steel containing magnesium oxide, silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, sodium oxide and potassium oxide component Of the slag, combined with scratches and folding cracks generated during the steel rolling surface defects, making the chain more susceptible to crack in the work force expansion, prompting the chain fracture.
