This special issue of Molecular Plant is dedicated to ’Plant Metabolism’,the collective term for all biochemical reactions occurring in plants to maintain their growth,development,reproduction and defense.In this issue,we are fortunate to present 10 research articles highlighting different aspects of plant metabolism along with three reviews.
