Designing and developing highly selective and ultrasensitive copper ion fluorescence probes is of great importance for the detection of copper trace elements that have a major impact on life activity. According to the identification mechanism and structural characteristics of molecular fluorescent molecular probes, the research progress of copper ion fluorescent probes in recent years is reviewed.
