相比于其他类型激光器,大功率光纤激光器具有结构紧凑、转换效率高、光束质量好、热管理方便等优点,在工业、国防等领域有着广泛的应用前景.其中高增益光纤材料与元件、高质量激光泵源、高性能激光种子源成为了制约万瓦级光纤激光器发展的主要因素.本文介绍了大功率光纤激光材料与器件的发展现状,分析讨论了高增益双包层光纤与元件(光纤光栅、包层光剥离器、合束器等)、激光泵源、单频光纤激光种子源等关键技术,对国产万瓦级乃至数万瓦级光纤激光技术的发展进行了展望.
