儒学用人体生命的一体性和家族家庭的亲和性来看世界,认为天人一体、天下一家,四海之内皆兄弟。这种共生共荣的天下观表现在国际间便是“讲信修睦”、“协和万邦”,中国历代的外交政策受此影响,基本上是和平睦邻友好的。西方近现代文化有强烈二重性:它给人类贡献出科学、民主、法治、人权、平等、自由等文明成果,但在国际关系上它的主流文化却奉行霸权主义和贵斗哲学,加重了世界的危机,其一是马基雅维利的强权政治论,其二是社会达尔文主义,其三是基督教一神教的独尊性与排异性。世界的和平与发展需要孔子的智慧,需要儒学“天下一家”、“和而不同”的思想,学会和平共处、互助共赢,否则“地球村”便无法维持。
Confucianism uses the unity of human life and the affinity of family and family to see the world as a whole, with one family and one brother all over the world. This symbiotic, co-prosperous outlook on the world shows that “peace and harmony” and “co-ordination of nations and nations” are in the international arena. The foreign policy of all previous generations in China has been affected by this and is basically peaceful, good-neighborly and friendly. Modern Western culture has a strong duality: it contributes mankind civilizations such as science, democracy, the rule of law, human rights, equality and freedom. However, in mainstreaming its international relations, its mainstream culture pursues hegemonism and philosophy of domination, Crisis, one is Machiavelli’s power politics, and the other is social Darwinism, the third is the monopoly and rejection of Christian monotheism. The peace and development in the world require the wisdom of Confucius. They need the Confucianism “One World, One Harmony and Difference,” and learn to live together in peace and win-win results. Otherwise, the “global village” can not be maintained.
