设计了一种新型微环谐振器,其基本结构由圆角正方形波导与条形波导组成。根据波导光学的耦合模理论,推导出双环串联和双环并联的圆角正方形微环谐振器的光强传递函数,并通过数值模拟分别获得这两种模型的谐振器的输出特性。结果表明:与传统的圆环形谐振器相比,圆角正方形结构微环谐振器的输出光谱的通带宽、谐振峰平坦、自由光谱区范围大,更接近理想的“箱型”波谱,而且圆角正方形结构相比于圆环形结构,其可变参数增多,更有利于器件的优化设计。
A new type of micro-ring resonator is designed. Its basic structure consists of a square wave guide and a strip guide. According to the waveguide coupling theory, the light intensity transfer functions of double-loop series and double-ring parallel-connected square microring resonators are deduced and the output characteristics of the two models are obtained respectively by numerical simulation. The results show that compared with the traditional circular resonator, the output of the round-corner micro-ring resonator has the same passband, the resonant peak is flat and the free spectral range is large, which is closer to the ideal “box” , And the rounded square structure compared to the circular ring structure, the variable parameters increased, more conducive to the optimal design of the device.
