荧光薄片鉴定的基本原理,是在荧光显微镜下利用紫外光作光源,激发能发光的物质产生荧光。石油沥青能被紫外光激发而产生荧光,其颜色反映沥青性质,而它的亮度及面积大小,反映相对含量的多少。因此,在荧光显微镜下,观察岩石薄片荧光分布及其产状,可以直观地研究岩石中沥青物质与岩石结构、构造与孔隙空间的关系。这是研究岩层生、储油以及油气运移问题的手段之一。
The basic principle of the identification of fluorescent thin film is the use of UV light as a light source under a fluorescence microscope to stimulate the fluorescent substance to emit light. Petroleum bitumen can be excited by ultraviolet light to produce fluorescence, its color reflects the nature of bitumen, and its brightness and size, reflecting the relative content of how much. Therefore, under the fluorescence microscope, we can observe the fluorescence distribution and the occurrence of the rock slice, and study the relationship between the asphaltene structure and the rock structure, structure and pore space in the rock. This is one of the means to study the problems of rock formation, oil storage and hydrocarbon migration.
