熊猫1501型收音机是20世纪50年代中国电子管收音机发展一个特殊现象,是大跃进时代“赶超英美”的时代产物。它承载着一段历史,也是一个具有官方审美趣味的特殊设计案例。从“献礼机”的设计特征中,既可以看到新中国的工业设计在从最初的模仿转向了具有本国特色的借鉴加创新设计,具有一定的现实价值;同时它也显现出特殊的时代背景下意识形态对工业设计发展的桎梏。
Panda 1501 radio is the 1950s China tube radio development of a special phenomenon, is the Great Leap Forward era “catch up with the United States and Britain,” the era of the product. It carries a history, but also a special design case with official aesthetic taste. From the design features of “gift machine”, we can see that the industrial design of New China has been transformed from the initial imitation to the use of innovative design with its own characteristics, which has certain realistic value. At the same time, it also shows a special Ideological Defects in Industrial Design Development under the Background of the Times.
