滾压法是无切屑加工法的一种,它不仅可以达到很高的光洁度,而且可提高被加工零件的机械性能。滾压法的实质是利用高硬度的无刃工具——鋼珠或滾子,使其对被加工表面造成局部高压。由于工具沿被加工表面滾动,形成了表层材料的彈性-塑性变形波,使前一工序留于表面的微观凸峰被碾平,表面形成了一定厚度的强化层。由于表面干滑,硬度提高,零件的耐磨性和疲劳強度就大为改善。内外圓柱面的滾压加工已有很多介紹,本文仅就干面的滾压加工法作一簡介。

The essence of the rolling method is the use of high-hardness non-edge tool - steel ball or roller, making it to be machined surface caused by local high pressure. As the tool rolls along the machined surface, the elastic-plastic deformation wave of the surface material is formed, so that the microscopic convex peaks left on the surface in the previous process are ground and the surface forms a strengthening layer with a certain thickness.
