上海交通大学物理系詹黎教授(图1)以及其博士研究生张亮(图2)首次在实验上实现了光纤中基于布里渊激光振荡的低损耗长距离超光速传输,其研究成果以“Superluminal propagationat negative groupvelocity in optical fibersbased on Brillouin lasing oscillation”为标题发表在物理领域国际顶级期刊物理评论快报(Physical Review Letters)(Phys.Rev.Lett.,Vol.107,093903,2011)。2011年8月,美国Science杂志网站以“Pushing Light Beyond Light Speed”为标 Prof. Zhan Li, Department of Physics, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and his Ph.D. candidate Zhang Liang (Figure 2) have experimentally achieved the low-loss long-range superluminal optical transmission based on Brillouin laser oscillation for the first time.
