Though the convention and exhibition economy in Qingdao was developed later than in other cities, great progress has already been made in recent years. With a sharp increase in the sheer number of exhibitions and rapid development of large venues to accommodate them, the overall level and quality of exhibitions held in Qingdao have been greatly promoted.
