本文对儒学在太平天国革命中的命运进行了探讨,作者指出:早年的洪秀全和太平天国革命初期,曾在一定程度上尊崇儒学,常引用儒学经典以论证他们的宗教和社会、伦理思想.1853年,太平天国建都南京后,洪秀全改变了政策,焚禁儒书,否定儒学.但杨秀清对此有强烈异议,他以天父名义肯定儒学经典和史书的价值;于是洪秀全被迫下诏删改四书五经,宣布删改后准许人民阅读.然而,此事历十余年而未完成,因此,儒学书籍在太平天国一直处于不合法地位.
This article discusses the fate of Confucianism in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom revolution. The author points out that in the early years of Hong Xiuquan and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom revolution, Confucianism had been respected to a certain extent, often quoted Confucian classics to demonstrate their religious, social and ethical thoughts.In 1853, After the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was founded in Nanjing, Hong Xiuquan changed his policy of burning Confucianism books and denying Confucianism, but Yang Xiuqing strongly disagreed with him in affirming the value of Confucian classics and history books in the name of Heavenly Father. So Hong Xiuquan was forced to make an edict to revise the Four Books and Five Classics, Announced the deletion of the permission of the people to read .However, this matter more than ten years and not completed, therefore, Confucianism books in the Taiping Heaven has been in an illegal position.
