在研究塔中地区断裂发育特征的基础上,根据泥岩涂抹系数定义,对研究区几条主要断层在石炭系中的泥岩涂抹系数进行了计算,结果表明,除F2断层泥岩涂抹系数大于4,所形成的泥岩涂抹层空间分布连续性相对较差,侧向封闭性不好,不利于油气聚集成藏外,其余几条断层(F3、F4、F5)泥岩涂抹系数均小于4,所形成的泥岩涂抹层空间分布的连续性相对较好,侧向封闭性好,为塔中地区石炭系油气聚集成藏起到了重要作用。
