福建省长乐市——“中国纺织产业基地市”;长乐市金峰镇——“中国经编名镇”;长乐市松下镇——“中国花边名镇”……纺织业作为长乐的支柱产业,历届党委、政府都积极致力于扶持和推进纺织产业发展,大力引导和鼓励在外的长乐籍企业家回乡投资,制定出台一系列产业发展政策,全力落实各项帮扶措施推进行业提升。全市纺织工业总产值从1979年的72万元增长到2001年的52.8亿元,进而跃升到2011年的700.45亿元。特别是“十六大”以来的十几年,长乐纺织业迎来了历史性突破的快速发展期。
