2005年的芙蓉姐姐,在网络掀起了一场“审丑”的风暴。而2006年,“草根们”作为一种文化偶像的兴起,则给传统媒体带来了一股强劲的冲击。在越来越多的包装和越来越豪华的炒作使人们产生普遍厌倦的今天,草根的力量应运而生。草根代表大众,草根明星并不等于大众明星,草根偶像量多质少,得到人们的关注多,关爱少。但不可否认,也有这么一群草根者,他们突破了这个定义,在风口浪尖上找到了自己的位置。草根们说:无需媒体吹捧,只要自我炒作,一切皆有可能。这是自助偶像的时代,这是偶然也是必然来临的——后偶像时代。
