乐府的雅化包括观念层面的俗、雅变迁和实践层面的俗乐雅化。乐府的雅化体现在音乐与歌词两方面,吴声音乐的雅化经历了晋宋时期“被之管弦”和萧梁宫廷制作大型组曲两个阶段,歌词的雅化经历了文人雅歌和宫廷艳曲两个阶段。由此,吴声由民谣的质朴天然走向文人乐歌的含蓄雅致和宫廷乐歌的艳丽奢华,完成了风格的演变。乐府的雅化总体上实现了艺术化和精美化,这个过程本身充满创造性,不宜简单视为僵化。
