十年前,我在清理济南市文物商店库存文物时,一件写有“欧林匹克”的粉彩瓷盘(封三)引起了我的注意。“欧林匹克”是旧时对“Olympic”一词的音译,见于20世纪初至30年代,抗日战争之后即统称“奥林匹克”。我立即意识到这不是一件普通的瓷盘,而是一件在中国奥运史上颇具意义的文物珍品。瓷盘共有4件,釉色晶莹,保存完好,口径13.5厘米。盘中心用红彩绘出两个带经纬线的黄色圆球,表示地球的东西半球,四个圆圈内楷书“欧林匹克”四字,白地黑字,十分醒
Ten years ago, when I was cleaning up the cultural relics in the cultural relics shops in Jinan City, a pastel porcelain dish with the name of “olympique” caught my attention. The “Olympic” is the transliteration of the word “Olympic” in the old days. It was found in the early 20th century to the 1930s and was collectively referred to as the “Olympics” after the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. I immediately realized that it was not an ordinary porcelain plate but rather an artifact treasured in the history of the Olympic Games in China.
