光释光(OSL)测年是近几年从热释光(TL)测年基础上发展起来的测定第四纪沉积物年龄的一种新技术,其原理与TL测年类似。不同的是:OSL是通过单色光束激发晶体中储存的电离辐射能使其以光的形式释放出来。当用近红外线束作为激发光源时称之为红外释光(IRSL)测年。与TL测年相比,OSL测年可以不考虑残留的OSL信号,而且测量具有简便、迅速且准确等优点。本文用细颗粒红外释光技术对玉门地区的构造阶地进行了年龄测定,初步结果表明:石油河阶地、白杨河阶地和大黄沟阶地被抬升的年代分别约为90、70、44、29、20、13、5.6kaB.P.前后。这些测定值与野外地质观察相符
Optical luminescence (OSL) dating is a new technique for determining the age of Quaternary sediments developed on the basis of thermoluminescence (TL) dating in recent years. Its principle is similar to TL dating. The difference is: OSL is through the monochromatic beam excitation crystal stored in the ionizing radiation to make it in the form of light released. When using a near-infrared beam as the excitation light source, it is called infrared light-emitting (IRSL) dating. Compared with the TL dating, OSL dating can not consider the residual OSL signal, and the measurement is simple, rapid and accurate. In this paper, the age of tectonic terrace in Yumen area was measured by fine-grained IR-luminescence. The preliminary results show that the ages of petroleum terraces, Baiyanghe terraces and Dahuanggou terraces are about 90, 70, 44, 29, 20, 13, 5.6kaB. P. Before and after. These measurements are consistent with field geological observations
