江泽民“三个代表”思想最重要的特点和意义在于，从马克思主义哲学角度提出和回答党建问题，是马克思主义党建哲学的开创性成果。“立党之本、执政之基、力量之源”是党建哲学的根本问题，“三个始终代表”是解决根本问题的必由之路。自觉实践“三个代表”，党就能始终走在时代前列，经受两大历史课题考验，永远立于不败之地。
The most important feature and significance of Jiang Zemin’s “three represents” thinking is that it is the pioneering achievement of Marxist party-building philosophy that putting forward and answering party building from the perspective of Marxist philosophy. “Founding the party, governing the foundation, the source of strength” is the fundamental issue of Party-building philosophy. “Three always represents” is the only way to solve the fundamental problem. Consciously practicing the “three represents,” the party will always be at the forefront of the times, withstand the tests of two major historical issues and remain invincible.
