大豆是重要的粮食作物和油料作物,常规的育种方法越来越受到基因狭窄的限制,使得单产水平提高缓慢。而转基因育种虽然可以打破物种的界限,有目的导入某个基因育成新品种,但对多基因控制的性状的改进难度很大,而且转基因安全性方面受到人们的关注。我们利用植物间的原生质体融合克服远缘杂交,为大豆育种另辟途径,既打破了物种界限又确保安全性。通过原生质体的不对称融合,可保持大豆的有利基因,又可引入其他作物和植物的部分有利性状,为大幅度提高大豆单产提供新的育种途径和方法,从而育成突出优良的大豆新品种。
Soybean is an important food crop and oilseed crop. Conventional breeding methods are more and more limited by the gene restriction, which makes the yield level increase slowly. Although genetically modified breeding can break the boundary of species and purposefully introduce a new gene into a new variety, it is very difficult to improve the trait controlled by multiple genes, and the safety of genetically modified gene has drawn people’s attention. We use protoplast fusion between plants to overcome distant crosses and provide another avenue for soybean breeding, breaking both species boundaries and ensuring safety. Asymmetric fusion of protoplasts can maintain favorable genes of soybean and introduce some beneficial traits of other crops and plants, thus providing new breeding ways and methods for significantly increasing yield of soybean so as to breed outstanding new soybean varieties.
