介绍了毫米波固态功率放大器的应用与发展现状,提出了一种新颖高效的2×2鳍线叠层式毫米波宽带功率合成结构,利用三维电磁场软件HFSS建模仿真,在32~36 GHz带内回波损耗小于-20 dB,插入损耗小于0.1 dB,与实测结果符合较好,据此研制出10 W功率模块。并设计了低损耗八合一空间波导合成器,实测带内回波损耗小于-20 dB,插入损耗小于0.25 dB,最终研制出在32~36 GHz内输出功率大于70 W的饱和脉冲固态功率放大器,合成效率为87%以上,合成效率较高。
This paper introduces the application and development status of millimeter-wave solid state power amplifier. A novel and efficient 2 × 2 fin-line millimeter-wave broadband power synthesis structure is proposed. By using three-dimensional electromagnetic field software HFSS modeling and simulation, The internal return loss is less than -20 dB and the insertion loss is less than 0.1 dB, which is in good agreement with the measured result. Based on this, a 10 W power module is developed. A low-loss 8-in-1 spatial waveguide synthesizer is designed. The measured in-band return loss is less than -20 dB and the insertion loss is less than 0.25 dB. Finally, a saturated pulse solid state power amplifier whose output power is greater than 70 W in 32-36 GHz is developed , The synthesis efficiency is above 87%, the synthesis efficiency is higher.
