莫言在《四十一炮》中刻绘了形形色色“吃”的众生相,在这种刻绘中寄托了作者对上世纪九十年代以来农村经济改革中的社会与人性的批判。而借助“吃”来寓言这一做法,是中国古代传统在莫言小说中的回响。由此可以看出,传统文化与文学,是莫言小说的重要根源之一。
Mo Yan portrayed all kinds of “eating” beings in the “41st Cannon”, in which he placed the author’s critique on the social and human nature in the rural economic reform since the 1990s. However, with the aid of “eating” to make a fable, this is an echo of ancient Chinese tradition in Mo Yan’s novels. From this we can see that traditional culture and literature are one of the important causes of Mo Yan’s novels.
