媒介融合是指各种媒介呈现出多功能一体化的趋势,各种媒介打破壁垒以合作的方式共同传播。媒介融合给文学的生产、传播、接受带来了巨大影响,从而引发了人们对文学命运的深深忧虑。媒介融合既为诗歌传播提供了更为便捷的条件、促进了诗歌的民主化进程、强化了作者与读者的互动性、凸显了写作的自由性和个人化,也给诗歌的传播造成如下影响:一是对诗歌功能的消解;二是对诗歌文体地位的消解;三是对诗坛“神性”的消解,四是对诗人“神性”的消解,五是对诗歌“神性”的消解,六是对诗歌传播过程的“神性”的消解。而媒介融合背景下诗歌的传播与发展,关键要解决好技术与艺术、精英与大众、神性与人性等几对矛盾。
