This article takes the implementation of the “Travel Law” as an opportunity. By analyzing the current status of the tour guide pay system in China and combining with the terms of tour guide pay involved in the Travel Law, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the tour guide pay system in China. The “Travel Law of the People’s Republic of China” officially implemented on October 1, 2013, or “Travel Law” for short, is a milestone in our country’s tourism industry moving toward formality. It marks a major change in the legal system for tourism. Tour guides as travel agents receive front-line staff, tourists, travel agencies and tourist attractions between the three assume a link between the quality of service guides directly affect the tourism industry’s reputation.
