同轴电缆外导体上周期地开槽制成的“开槽式漏泄同轴电缆”,自从1962年发明用作移动通信用线路以来,由于其种种优越的特性,现在已在各方面实用化了。但是这种电缆的残余的问题是可以使用的频带狭。作者们叙述解决上述问题的开槽周期,槽的长度、宽度,斜角度等等的具体设计方法,然后根据这种设计方法,制造了四种耦合损耗不同的漏泄同轴电缆。电气特性的实测结果证明,它在宽频带内具有理论所述的良好特性。除了宽频带化之外,还预先考虑了与以往不同的,在隧道以外的敷设条件,并且叙述了在最苛刻的完全浸水的情况下电气特性的变化。
“Slotted leaky coaxial cable”, which is made by periodically slotting the outer conductor of the coaxial cable, has been put into practical use in various fields since its invention of the line for mobile communications in 1962 because of its various advantageous features . The measured results of the electrical characteristics prove that it has the good characteristics described in theory in a wide frequency band. In addition to wide banding, pre-tunneling conditions other than in the past are pre-considered, and changes in electrical properties are described in the most severe case of complete immersion.
