介绍金属基复合材料的一种新的制备方法──自蔓延-熔铸法(简称“SM技术”)。这个方法的基本点是通过放热自反应在金属熔体中长出陶瓷增强相。由于陶瓷相为基体内“原位”(insitu)生成,没有于空气中暴露,克服了传统制备方法中陶瓷颗粒的表面污染及氧化问题。同时,陶瓷相的结构形态可通过自反应参数进行调整,因此,复合材料的微观结构在一定程度上变得可“设计”,从而提高复合材料的性能。
A new preparation method of metal matrix composites ─ ─ self-propagating - casting method (referred to as “SM technology”). The basic point of this method is to grow the ceramic reinforcement in the metal melt by exothermic self-reaction. As the ceramic phase is generated by “insitu” in the matrix, it is not exposed to air and overcomes the problem of surface contamination and oxidation of the ceramic particles in the traditional preparation method. At the same time, the morphology of the ceramic phase can be tuned by the self-reaction parameters, so the microstructure of the composite becomes “designable” to some extent, thereby increasing the composite’s performance.
