2000年的“首届中国股民精英群体报告及交流会”上,“北京操盘手”李克华与号称“中国散户第一人”的杨怀定(杨百万)、人称“三湘股神”的邱力原等其他5位“股民精英”一起,并排坐在讲台上侃侃而谈。在6个人当中,李克华的年龄最小,仅31岁,股龄也最短,只有3年。李克华的成名要感谢互联网的存在。正是由于他在一些财经网站上对股市发表的评论,及准确度较高的荐股水平,才使他声名鹊起。
