在等离子切割工作中,割炬是直接影响生产效率和切割质量的重要因素。我厂曾使用的割炬喷嘴经常损坏,甚至有的新喷嘴换上后未进行切割就损坏了。这是何原因呢?经观察发现喷嘴的两个相距6毫米的环形台阶有时因为加工不精确,造成两个密封垫不容易同时压紧,使冷却水往形成等离子弧的下枪体内腔泄漏,因而易形成双弧。为此,我们作了如下改进。将喷嘴的两个环状密封台阶移到同一平面,如图1所示。这样喷嘴缩短了,为保持原来的压缩角,在下枪体下端加工一段锥形孔。改进后的割炬如图2所示。
