Positive and negative imagessof Thai tourism perceived by Chinese tourists

The objective of this study is to study the positive and negative opinions of the Chinesetourists toward Thai tourism and also compare Chinese tourists opinions on the image of thepositive and negative aspects of Thai tourism classified by sex, age, level of education,occupation and income.The result of this study found that;  (1) The majority of samples groups was male, age 31-40 years old, education belowundergraduate degree, mainly students, their monthly income ranged in less than 5,000 RMBand number of time visit to Thailand per year is uncertain.  (2) The study of positive and negative opinions of the Chinese tourists toward Thaitourism found that tourists attraction (Resources and heritage tourism), the transportation,facilities when departing/arriving the country, the accommodations and the safety are positiveimage of Thailand tourism.  (3) Comparision Study on Chinese tourists opinions on the image of the positive andnegative aspects of Thai tourism classified by sex, age, level of education, occupation andincome found that samples groups with different sex had a different opinion which is apositive image toward the comfort of travel, cleanliness of foods and beverages, safety oftravel and the safety of life.The Chinese tourists with different age had a different opinionwhich is a positive image toward tourism in the taste of foods and beverages and the reducingof the tour prices during certain seasons.The Chinese tourists with different educationalbackground had a different opinion toward the service of the staff, the safety of life, theprocess of immigration, luggage transport and service of the staff at the airport.The Chinesetourists with different occupation had a different opinion in components the comfort of travel,arrives on time at destination, the beauty of tourist attractions, the comfort of facilities oftourists attractions and interests of tourists attractions.The Chinese tourists with differentincome had a different opinion which is a positive image toward tourism components ofcomfort of travel.
