Objective: To study the eXPression of CDl5. nm23 in bladdertransitional cell carcinoma (TCC ) and the re1ationship betweenthe two genes expression, and determine the prognostic predictorof bladder TCC.’Methods: Immunohistochemical staining (LSAB) was used toinvestigate the expression of CD15 nm23 in l0 normal bladdertissues and 45 bladder TCC tissues.Results: The CDl5 positive expression was mainly located incytoplasm, the positive incidence was 7l.l%. High levelexpression of CDl5 was correlated with histologic grade (Pr0.05) and clinical stage (P<0.05) of bladder TCC.The nm23 positive =expression was only located incytoplasm, the positive incidence was 73.3%: l2 cases(-). l5cases(+). l2 cases(++). 6 cases(+++). Low level expression ofnm23 was significanily correlated with histologic grade (Px0.0l ) and clinical stage (P wt0.0l ) of bladder TCC.The eXPression of CDl5 was negatively correlated with theexpression of nm23..Conclusions: Histologic grade. clinical stage1 invasion andmetastatis of bladder TCC were correlated with high level’ exPression of CDl5 and 1ow level exPression of nm23. The.eXPression of CDl5 was negatively correlated with theexpression of nm23.
