An approach has been proposed for predicting the tensile curve of the ply yarn under large deformation without the tensile strength tester. The relationships among the structural parameters and tensile properties under large deformation were considered. The mathematical models for calculating the yam tension have been derived previously, for getting the data from zero strain to the breaking strain.
