Objective:This study was designed to investigate three different cerebral protective techniques during aortic arch aneurysm surgery.Methods:Deep hypothermic circulatory arrest (DHCA) was applied in 17 patients; retrograde cerebral perfusion (RCP) through superior vena cava during deep hypothermic circulatory arrest in 67 patients and selective antegrade cerebral perfusion (SCP) through innominate artery,left common carotid artery or axillary artery in 22 patients.The outcomes of operation and morbidity were recorded and compared.
