TiC coatings were formed on the gear case bearings using in wind power generators by multi-arc ion plating in low temperature, and the properties of the wearing resistance was studied specially using the compared samples.Companng with the base samples, all the results shown that the wearing resistance was improved obviously, the friction coefficients reduced as well by testing the TiC coated samples.
