　　The full-length eDNA sequence and genomic structure of TNF-α (AjTNF-α) in Japanese eel (Anguilla.japonica) was identified and characterized.The full-length, 1,546 bp cDNA contained a 654 bp open reading frame encoding a 218 amino acid protein.The genomic sequence measured 1,503 bp and contained three introns that intercepted four coding exons.
