Abstract:The Therapy of Promotion and Restraint between the Five Emotions is the most widely adopted emotion therapy in TCM.It is based on the principle of promotion and restraint between the five emotions.It deliberately arouses one type of emotion temporarily to overcome and impede another extreme emotion to restore balance to the body and cure the disease.
