　　ESCC is one of the most common cancers worldwide with poor prognosis.Ursolic Acid(UA)found in plants and herbs,has been reported as an inhibitory agent for variety of human cancers.However,the biological mechanism of UAs effect on human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is not fully understood.In this study,the effect of UA on induction of autophagy in ESCC is investigated.
