  Environmental issues such as greenhouse problem are amongst the top priorities of modern society. Due to the dual roles of CO2 as a greenhouse gas and a renewable C1 source, its selective capture and separation has attracted tremendous attention. Porous carbon nanostructures are considered to hold great promise for selective CO2 capture due to their high surface area, abundant porosity and good physical and chemical stability.
