As the main pollution sources in China,manufacturing enterprises are the most important subjects of environment government.However,current methods of environmental management,including the enterprise environmental auditing,cannot meet the need of environment government in China.This paper first analyzes the insufficiency of current methods of enterprise environmental auditing and the advantages of Environmental Management System (EMS);and then explores the method of EMS-based enterprise environmental auditing from group and single perspectives;and finally puts forward procedures of environmental auditing based on pillar industries in the Pearl River Delta Region.
