A series of Pt2Ag heterotrinuclear alkynyl complexes based on 2,5-bis(diphenylphosphine)thiophene(PTP), trans-[Pt2Ag{μ-PTP}2(C≡C-R)2][ClO4]2 [R=C6H4CF3-4(1),C6H5-4(2),C6H4But-4(3),C6H4OMe-4(4),C6H4Me2(5)],were synthesized via self-assembly method.Those compounds were characterized by elemental analyses,ESIMS,1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy,and X-ray crystallography.Compounds 1-5 emit strongly in the solid state,while exhibit moderate photoluminescence in degassed dichloromethane solution at 298 K.
