As a novel nanomaterial, TiO2 nanotube has attracted considerable attention recently. However, most the research work focused on the preparation of this nanomaterial, and there is la6k of information about its environmental application. The purpose of our study is to investigate the feasibility of TiO2 nanotubes as an adsorbent for solid-phase extraction of several Di-ehtyl-phthalate compounds. The TiO2 nanotubes in this study were prepared by alkaline hydrothermal method. To enhance the adsorption ability of the TiO2 material to organic compounds, the cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB)-coated TiO2 nanotubes mixed hemimicelles system was adopted. It was shown in the batch experiment that the adsorption of all the analytes reached equilibrium quickly and the adsorption of the analytes was less affected in acid solution.
