报道了一种非保偏光纤放大器自适应偏振转换系统,可以将非保偏光转换为线偏光。结合非保偏光纤放大器中的偏振演化机理以及偏振控制器的原理,建立了非保偏光纤放大器中自适应偏振转换的数学模型,分析了不同条件下输出消光比的变化。根据理论优化参数,采用基于并行梯度下降优化算法(SPGD)的自适应偏振转换手段对非保偏光纤放大器的偏振分量进行优化控制,使非保偏光纤放大器输出的消光比达到16.7 d B。
Reported a non-polarization maintaining fiber amplifier adaptive polarization conversion system that converts non-polarization to linear polarization. Combined with the polarization evolution mechanism in non-polarization-maintaining optical fiber amplifier and the principle of polarization controller, a mathematical model of adaptive polarization conversion in non-polarization-maintaining optical fiber amplifier is established. The variation of output extinction ratio under different conditions is analyzed. According to the theoretical optimization parameters, the polarization components of non-polarization-maintaining optical fiber amplifier are optimally controlled by the adaptive polarization conversion method based on the parallel gradient descent optimization algorithm (SPGD), so that the extinction ratio of the non-polarization-maintaining optical fiber amplifier reaches 16.7 d.
