The Canadian Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (CFAVM) represent all faculties of agriculture and veterinary medicine in Canadian universities.Its 13 members include: University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, University of Saskatchewan, University of Manitoba, University of Guelph, McGill University, Université Laval, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM, within U of S), Ontario Veterinary College (OVC, with U Guelph), Faculté de médecine vétérinaire (within Université de Montréal), Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC, within U of Prince Edward Island) and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (within U of Calgary).CFAVM colleges provide over 40% of the agriculture and agri-food research in Canada, and have strong collaboration with Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, strong working relationships with industry in Canada and extensive experience in working in many countries around the world.Sources of research funding include federal, provincial and industries.
