  This paper puts forward a novel energy management method aiming at reducing energy cost,pollution emission and peak load in the micro-grid.According to a certain Shanghai Sci-tech Parks microgrid,this paper analyses functions of three resources in the micro-grid operation,which are distributed generators,storage and shiftable load.Based on that,the energy management system is established.The system first consumes the energy from renewable DG to curtail the load.Then it utilizes the controllable DGs,storage and shiftable load resources to optimize whole-day load curve.Due to the interaction between the three controllable resources optimization results,system uses iteration method to approach the global best solution.Considering that there are a large number of nonlinear problems in the calculating system,the PSO is employed to solve above optimization problems.Meanwhile,this system adopts the rolling horizon algorithm to improve its accuracy,which counters the randomness of load in the microgrid.Example indicates that through the optimization of this EMS,micro-grid not only cuts the peak load,but also reduces the electricity costs by the TOU price policy and improves the environment friendliness.
