Biodegradation of β-blocker atenolol was investigated using an enriched nitrifying culture at controlled ammonium concentration and without ammonium addition.
The TiO2 based photocatalytic nanomaterials have been proven as economical and efficient photocatalysts,to degrade a variety of pollutants, during the last few decades.
The removal of pollutants using synergistic adsorption and photodegradation processes can increase the removal efficiency compared with those of the individual technologies [1].
