Objective: It was reported that melamine was deliberately added to infant formula in order to increase protein content.Recently,several studies reported that melamine could cause neurotoxicity.Moreover,one of our previous studies suggested that autophagy could protect PC12 cells from melamine-induced cell death via inhibiting the excessive generation of ROS.
