  In this talk,we will report liquid crystal display and microlens array.For the time-multiplexed dual-view display,a VFSBPLCD panel is employed to achieve high transmittance and fast response time,while using a directional backlight module to provide a large oblique incident angle.By controlling the light sources and image data,the device can display two different images to different viewers sequentially.For the liquid crystal microlens array,two identical substrates with a lenticular electrode on each surface are used to fabricate a lens cell.When a voltage is applied across the electrodes,a periodically inhomogeneous electric field can be generated.Such an electric field can cause a homogeneous LC with a gradient refractive index distribution.Our experiment results show that the lens cell can present good focusing property.
