  Since prevalence of binge drinking and heavy drinking is common throughout Mongolia and alcohol induced liver diseases are leading among digestive system diseases in Mongolia, it is vital to create drug form consists of Curcuma longa (Linn).Root of/Curcuma longa/contains curcuminoids and curcum which include curcumin (diferuloylmethane), monodesmethoxykurkumin, epher 3-5%, seksviterpen keton, turmerone 60%, sugars, proteins and resins1,5.Indian scientist Dr.A.L.Mudaliar in 1999 studied effect on protecting liver of Curcuma longa(Linne)1,2 and Tilak J.C, Banerjee M in 2004, Asai A, Nakagawa K in 1999, Singh G, Kapoor I.P.S.in 2010 revealed its antioxydant effect 11,12,13.In Japan, Nizona company manufactures Ukon drink which reveals hangover symptoms and protects liver.When taking Curcumin by mouth, it prevents from releasing inflammation mediators1.Furthermore, curcumin is used for preventing liver due to it admonishes of exceeding SGOT, SGPT ensymes2.Effects of Curcuma longa(Linne) such as haemostasis, relieving pain, anti-inflammation, increasing secretion of bile, protecting liver, antioxydating, detoxicating, increasing to multiple liver cells, chronic obstructive pulmonary, anti-cancer, protecting stomach and regulating cholesterol 3,4,5.Main effect of Curcuma longa(Linne) on protecting liver is related to its characteristic of being ingibitor of toxins2.
