Polymeric micelles(PMs)have been widely proven to enhance the oral bioavailibility of poorly water-soluble drugs. However, their in vivo fate and absorption mechanism have not been elucidated clearly yet due to the complicated physiology in gastrointestinal tract as well as the lack of effective tools, although intact absorption of PMs and solubility enhancement are considered to be the main contributions to the enhanced bioavailibility by far.
